Meet The Founder

Dr. Melva L. Henderson, a 2015 John Maxwell Top 100 National Leadership Award Nominee, is impacting and changing lives on a local, national and global level. She is President and Founder of World Bible Training Institute as well as World Ministerial Alumni Association. Melva is Vice President and Co-Pastor of World Outreach Center in Milwaukee WI, alongside her husband, Senior Pastor, Dr. Ervin “Skip” Henderson.

Melva travels internationally, teaching and training individuals called to serve as ministry gifts, according to Ephesians 4:11 and 1 Corinthians 12:28. In 2007, she established The Little Feet of Mexico and The Milwaukee Give, both humanitarian efforts aimed at providing food and clothing for those living in poverty. To help meet the financial responsibility of her efforts, The Melva Henderson Foundation was established in 2014. Through these mediums, Melva and volunteer staff have had opportunities to feed and clothe over 35,000 individuals.

Melva is State Director for The Daughters for Zion, a prayer network under Christians United for Israel (CUFI). She is the host of Discipling the Nations radio and television broadcast aired locally/nationally on Joy 1340 and The Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN), where she is also a frequent host of Praise the Lord and Joy in Our Town.

A writer at heart, Melva is author of the daily devotional Fresh Baked Manna, Volumes I and II, as well as her ongoing Life Book Series. Recently released titles include The Faith Life Series and The Practical Life Series. She is also a columnist for Just Between Us, an international women’s magazine.

Melva is a 1992 graduate of Rhema Bible Training College and received an Honorary Doctorate Degree from the School of Bible Theology Seminary & University in June 2016.
