Dr. Melva L. Henderson is a nationally respected leader, communicator, and builder of people. A 2015 John Maxwell Top 100 National Leadership Award Nominee, she continues to influence lives locally, nationally, and globally through ministry, leadership development, and humanitarian service.
She is the President and Founder of World Bible Training Institute and the World Ministerial Alumni Association, and serves as Vice President and Co Pastor of World Outreach Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, alongside her husband, Senior Pastor Dr. Ervin “Skip” Henderson. Together, they have dedicated their lives to equipping believers to lead with integrity and walk confidently in their God given purpose.
Dr. Henderson travels internationally training ministry leaders in alignment with Ephesians 4,11 and 1 Corinthians 12,28. Her compassion for those in need birthed The Little Feet of Mexico and The Milwaukee Give in 2007, humanitarian efforts that, through the support of volunteers and the Melva Henderson Foundation, have provided food and clothing to more than sixty thousand individuals.
She is the voice behind Discipling the Nations, the radio and television outreach of Melva Henderson Global, reaching listeners and viewers with practical teaching and leadership insight.
Dr. Henderson is a graduate of Rhema Bible Training College and holds a Master’s Degree in Missional Leadership from Trinity Bible College and Graduate School. She received an Honorary Doctorate from the School of Bible Theology Seminary and University in 2016.
She is a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, committed to developing the life and faith of the believing leader worldwide.
